How do I register?
Download a registration form and send to the Bay Run PO Box 786 before Friday 18th July with a cheque or money order made out to the "Dobroyd Point P+C The Bay Run". You can also pay electronically by Direct Debit.

It is important to remember if you are using the electronic or Pay Anyone option, that you must enter the entrant name or names in the payee "description" field. This will help us to match and confirm your electronic payments with the registration form/s you have mailed.
Remember all preregistered participants receive a discount. Registration is available on the race day. Be sure to get there before 7:30am to avoid any queues.
How do I enter a team?
A team must be made up of four members. Download and complete a Team Registration Form.
All members of the team must sign the form.Preregister and receive a discount.
How do the team events work?
Entrants in the team events will run the 7km course alongside the individual runners. Each team's race time will be determined by the aggregate of all the 4 team members. Team members are automatically entered in the individual events.
How do I fill out the Registration Form?
It is essential that you read and sign the disclaimer. In addition, please make sure that you fill out one form for each individual runner or for each team registering for the event. More information is available here.
The T-shirt is optional, but if you want a T-shirt, please indicate so on the Registration Form. It is important that you tell us what size of T-shirt you want by ticking the size. Add up the amount for registration and T-shirt carefully. Incorrect amounts will challenge our accounts department!
How do I get my race number and T-shirt?
Race numbers, timing anklet and T-Shirts will be handed out on the day of the race, commencing at 6:30 am. Race numbers should be collected by 7:45am.
If you have ordered a T-shirt, you can pick it up at the registration desk at the same time when you pick up your number and timing device, otherwise you can pick it up any time before 10:30 am.
Are there prizes?
Yes the Bay Run awards prizes to the fastest three male and fastest three female runners. The cash amounts are:

To add to the challenge, if a female breaks the race record of 24:51 minutes or a male breaks 21:34 minutes they will win $100 for beating the existing race records.The under 15 female and male winners will receive a shoe voucher from our sponsor Running Science.

How do I get there?
The starting line is at Leichhardt Park between Leichhardt Rowing club (Glover Street, Leichhardt) and Le Montage Function Centre (Frazer Street, Leichhardt).
There is extra parking in front of Le Montage and at the Leichhardt Aquatic Centre. Allow 20 minutes to find a spot and get to the starting area.

What do I need to do once I've pre-registered?
All you have to do is pick up your race number and timing anklet from the registration desk by 7:45am on race day. Safety pins and help with attaching your race number and anklet will be available. Be there in time for a fun warm up. Then enjoy the run.
Can I register on the day?
Yes. You can enter for all events on race day, with the exception of the dog race which requires pre-registration.Race day registrations will be limited and close promptly at 7:40am.
You will need to fill out a form and pay first before getting your registration number and timing anklet. To speed things up, download a form and fill it out before you come down. Bringing the exact money will speed things up for you. Those entering the dog race must be pre-registered.
How do I find out how I am placed?
2008 results will be posted soon after the run. Click on the results link on the left side of the page. The 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 results are currently posted.
